Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics (ATA) 1.7 provides ongoing improvements to the ATA Center and Gateway components.
ATA 1.7 provides improvements in the following areas:
- New Detection - Reconnaissance using Directory Services Enumeration
- Improvements to existing detections – Improved Pass-The-Hash, Pass-The-Ticket and Unusual Protocol Implementation detections.
- OS Support – ATA Gateway and Lightweight Gateway now support Windows 2016 and include Server Core
- RBAC – ATA v1.7 introduces role based access control to enhance the authorization options
- User Experience – Redesigned configuration experience and Gateway update configuration page
- This build also includes update 1 and update 2 for ATA v1.7. See KB3191777 and KB3203681 for more information
