The conversation is no longer \u201cif\u201d but \u201chow\u201d as institutions consider what that means for students, educators, and institutions. To better understand this shift, we conducted numerous studies and surveys and collaborated with academic institutions and organizations. AI is a creative and collaborative partner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>AI is helping students, educators, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/education\/school-leaders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">education leaders<\/a> think more creatively and work more collaboratively. Together, these skills are going to be essential when students enter the new world of work. AI is helping to reimagine learning experiences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/education\/learning-tools\/accessibility-tools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">supporting neurodivergent learners<\/a>, facilitating multilingual communication, or acting as a brainstorming partner, AI is empowering students and educators to explore new ways of thinking and learning together. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2501.08864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UK-based study<\/a>, university students and educators said AI helped them overcome creative blocks, explore new topics, and clarify complex content\u2014describing it as a collaborative partner available around the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet while AI is expanding new possibilities in education, realizing its full potential requires addressing the concerns it raises.
