It\u2019s that time of year again\u2014when our industry comes together to share and learn about technology that can drive transformation and new opportunities in healthcare. My Microsoft Health colleagues and I will be joining health professionals from around the world in Chicago, Illinois, April 12\u201316 for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.himss.org\/Events\/EventDetail.aspx?ItemNumber=27978\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Annual Conference &amp; Exhibition (HIMSS15)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/industry\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/HIMMS15.jpg\" alt=\"HIMMS15\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Every year, changes in healthcare and in technology necessitate a look at how you can improve your health organization\u2019s care delivery and operational efficiency. Cloud computing is now front and center. As business requirements change and grow, more health organizations are looking to take advantage of the scalability and flexibility of the cloud to keep up. At HIMSS15, we\u2019ll share how you can benefit from the new opportunities the cloud offers. During these sessions, you\u2019ll be immersed in a user experience that takes you through healthcare work scenarios, including communicating in real time with virtual care teams; using devices in a clinical environment to provide clinicians with easy access to patient data; and using analytics to make faster, better-informed decisions about patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Participating in a MEC session is the best way to learn about business productivity tools and technologies. Sessions will be held in the Microsoft booth #1202 and led by a trained facilitator.
