The Excel and Power BI teams are hosting a new conference designed specifically for you, the business analyst. Insights NateNate Silver, founder, FiveThirtyEight—Silver launched the field of data prediction into the public eye with his accurate analyses during the 2008 and 2012 elections. Today, he’s pioneering the new field of data journalism with his award-winning website, FiveThirtyEight.

In his keynote, he’ll share his thoughts on the increasingly valuable uses for data-based predictions in modern business, politics, sports—and life.


Insights CollieRob Collie, founder, PowerPivotPro—Collie is among the foremost authorities on self-service business intelligence and next-generation spreadsheet technology. He was one of the founding engineers behind Power Pivot and created the world’s first Power Pivot service.

He is also the founder of a consulting service (PowerPivotPro) and the author of two books, including the world’s number-one selling Power BI book, “DAX Formulas for Power Pivot.”


Insights WinstonWayne Winston, professor, consultant and writer—Winston is a sought-after professor and consultant who has built a legacy of work around data science. He has consulted for high profile people and organizations, like Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks, Eli Lilly, James Hardy, Pfizer, Sabre, Verizon and GM.

He has won over 40 teaching awards and written over a dozen books on the subjects of Excel, data science and statistics. Winston is a visiting professor at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and is Chief Data Scientist in Residence at Apparatus.net.
