Repsol bets on digital transformation
Repsol works with Microsoft Consulting Services to adopt an Azure Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to transform their use of the cloud and drive innovation.

Hundreds of Cloud projects delivered
Repsol’s IT staff worked closely with their embedded Microsoft experts and were soon able to complete more than 260 projects via the CCoE.

Increased agility and collaboration
Repsol adopted new, cross-functional ways of working that improved on the processes between traditional teams and reduced hierarchies.

A new culture and mindset
Establishing a CCoE helped foster a more motivated and committed work culture focused on delivering value.

Digital Advisory Services play a key role
Digital Advisory Services experts worked along side Repsol to create a digital platform. Platform implemented a variety of use cases and defined a Security Control Framework that fully met Repsol’s cybersecurity standards. This enabled IT to take advantage of Agile methodology to respond quickly to business needs.

Impact beyond the IT department
As the largest energy company in Spain and one of the largest in the world, Repsol previously focused exclusively in energy resources and business expansion. Now, their focus is moving towards the cloud.
