I personally feel pretty lied to by this developer. On the website FAQ it states that there isn't a population or unit limit, yet here we are with a pathetic 100 limit. If you're going to sell a product ensure you have data for all versions. Secondly, where is the other two modes you made it look like we were purchasing with this game? I want my horde mode and invaders mode, the pop cap is bad enough. The servers are pretty unstable, which is to be expected I suppose, but that instability is a cherry on an already fairly unsavory cake. I was super stoked about this game due to the musical composer and the OG Westwood team, now it all feels deflated and cash grabey. Thanks guys. I'd suggest people steer clear of this until it has been really updated, you get what you pay for, and it doesn't cost more than ten dollars. As a fan of the original Command and Conquer games like Gold and Red Alert I am so disappointed. 👎😢💰🔥

Hi there! Thank you for your review. It wasn't at all our intention to make it look like you'd get all three games at once by buying 8-Bit Armies. That's why we specifically put up 8-Bit Armies in pre-order. The other two separate games (they're not DLC, just like on Steam) are launching later, as they simply aren't done to launch on console yet. We're mainly working on the balancing right now. We as SOEDESCO wanted to bring this game to console as we were big fans of C&C as well. We didn't like putting in a population cap too, but due to the limitations of the systems, we were forced to. As I said, it's not our intention to make it look like we're selling three games in one bundle and I'm sorry if it does.

Absolutely awful. Terribly overpriced, I thought I was getting 3 games and it's just one, who want's to play a RTS with just 2 factions? Especially when it's 3 years old and 14.99 on steam? As if that wasn't bad enough, the game itself is bare bones trying to imitate the classic Command and conquer feeling. It fails. infantry is only good with when paired with tanks. But there's no reason to use them because if you use enough tanks, they can destroy anything. You can literally mass produce tanks and use them to win every single campaign mission on the hardest difficulty and get all the stars ( Apart from one where you just have to match produce helicopters ). Good luck trying to get into a game, and God help you if you are trying to find a game and have your friends be on your team, seeing as there are no private slots. This game is very frustrating to play after spending $30 on it because you just pick it apart and see that every single unit if massed produced enough wins you the game

I played a lot of RTS on console, including all command & conquers ruse, halo wars, supreme commander & sudden strike which removes building bases, & i appreciate the speed at which i can control the units & manage a base in 8-bit rts, but i was wondering if the devs wanted us to unlock the other factions via finishing both campaigns? To anyone confused on how to select individual groups without sending out whole pool, its d-pad down, but it selects all units currently on the screen, but at. least it wont send out entire army group from pressing x y b lol & stop building queues by pressing A, deselect menus with LB/RB, right on dpad for harvester, up on dpad for 4 choices: attack move = left, stop movement = right, plot waypoint = down, movement cursor = up, click LS for base, click RS for easy navigation around map, up on RS scatters units, LT = sell, RT = repair, left on dpad sends money in coop & u can waypoint new build queues by clicking on barracks then choose the meetup spot

A little misleading, granted the version says armies, but the add-on that comes with it changes the image of the game to one showing the aliens and horders. This changed image also changes the name to 8-Bit RTS Series, so it's just misleading and disappointing. Will we be charged $30 when they make hordes and again for invaders?
