A Decent Proposal

Mid-20s big-city career woman Tia McClellan falls for Nick Matthews, rugged self-made man, and is about to bear his child when Nick dies in a chopper crash with his National Guard unit. Tia was an orphan and is determined not to do the same to her baby - but she's saved from that decision by her boss and would-be suitor, real estate scion and billionaire Michael Beekman, who offers a decent proposal: marry him and he'll raise the baby as his own. Tia does - and gets to watch her baby grow in the lap of luxury even as Michael spends more and more time on business, letting their semi-loveless marriage deteriorate. And that's when Nick turns up alive and wanting Tia back, baby and all. Tia's joy is tempered by Michael's unwillingness to let go of her or the baby. Thus begins her painful struggle to do the right thing - for herself, for her one true love and for her son.
