Review title of ColinWorks ok but badly in need of updating

Some of the options seen on Echo's etc desperately need to be brought to the app, a quick example, you can't change the wake word, its Alexa, you are stuck with Alexa, if someone can explain to me why I can make the wake word "Computer" on an Echo dot but not on... A Computer... I don't even... As such if you have any other devices in your home its unusable as they basically all answer if within earshot. And no, I will not be changing the Echo name to computer to get around this, I'll either get the patch this so badly needs and name the computer... "Computer" or simply give up trying to use it.

Review title of AlejandroPlease add volume control on the app when playing music

Using the OS's volume control is too abrupt, it either goes or too high or too low when playing through a bluetooth speaker, super annoying. It would be great if I could control the volume through the Alexa app where I can fine tune the volume better using the mouse. I can do that with different music services on the web (including Amazon Music) Please add this feature to the Alexa app on Windows 10. Lastly, when my laptop's display goes to sleep the music stops! :( I move the mouse 5 secs later the music continues playing, really? Please fix this. Good day.

Review title of bI Love it!!

So much fun to ask questions and put Alexa to work helping me with reminders, timers, checking word spellings, weather in my area, making "To Do" lists for the week. If you can work a cell phone, you can work Alexa PC ap!

Review title of BeckyNo routines

I wanted this app because the cell phone app is so slow it takes forever to open and use that setting up a simple routine takes too long. I wind up using my Google assistant instead. I hoped Alexa for PC would allow me to set up reminders, timers, and routines but alas...it's not available.

Review title of AnthonyApp keeps crashing

I installed the app and went through the setup and the app starts and then immediately crashes. I have spoken to amazon support and they have no idea why its crashing. All other downloaded apps work .

Alexa really sucks, U tube is so much easier to find a song and play the song you want and the original singer. I don't care about copy cat singers I like the original singer of each song...

Review title of Gabriela"Thing to Try" was the update I didn't know I needed!

Wow, I am truly astonished that despite the hardship our nation is experiencing, Amazon has risen to the top and been able to provide such an amazing update! The "Things to Try" page particularly stood out to me because now I have an abundance of resources provided by Alexa that I did not know I had! I didn't realize I can ask Alexa things like "Alexa, how tall is Jeff Bezos?" or "Alexa, why did Tim Bray leave his job?". Most importantly, cheers to the hard working individuals that took time away from their loved ones during this pandemic to put this all together! In times like these, we surely need more ways to stay connected, and wow do I want to connect with some of these brilliant minds.

Review title of NoelSo, WHAT does Alexa do? I'm confused here.

Amazon should never … EVER release apps ********** let me tell ya. Honestly, I do not know why I still have her on my Microsoft. All she does is sit off-line and she doesn't budge an inch. One time, I wanted to listen to some music, but then, I had to follow a link just to play my own playlists. Then, they referred me to the Amazon Music app (which that app too seems a little "off"). There's no consistency, and quite frankly, I didn't even know if it was actually me or not causing all of these weird instances on my laptop. It's a long story - I'm not going there. I'm glad to have read these reviews. Now, I'm on my way over to Amazon Music.

Review title of JoshNot response to microphone.

Does not respond to my microphone. I have a webcam mic and a wireless headset, neither produce a response. This is with hands-free on and the push-to-talk function. I would love to use this device to communicate with my kids in one room that has an echo dot and the computer in the office that I'm sitting at. Completely worthless if it doesn't hear me.
