Leaves me with a smile!

I have not had any bad experiences with amazon as of yet. I have ordered music, items for my devices and I am satisfied so far with the service and ease of ordering and the variety that I have to order from ...thank you.

Please release a UWP App to replace this web wrapper

I have been a Amazon Prime subscriber for many years now and I have decided to cancel my Prime subscription due to not having quality Amazon Apps to utilize the benefits of my subscription to the fullest. Once Amazon releases UWP Apps for their Shopping, Video, Music, Cloud Drive and Photos apps then I will subscribe again.

Review title of JarrenVideo in App is Available

I was having trouble playing videos in app, but when I kept clicking the green "Watch Now" button it kept taking me to the website. I click on the play triangle and same thing. But when I play the trailer, let it play to the end, then click the green bar, it plays in app. But one thing that bugs me is the "full screen" isn't really full screen. the top and left bars are still seen and my windows taskbar is still in view. It's not like Netflix where you select full screen and it expands to the entire monitor. If you are listening Amazon web developers/customer service, please fix this.

Review title of NathanWeb Wrapper

I mean I kinda like having this app, I stay logged in if clear my cookies in Edge. However, it's just s web wrapper, and quite bland, and boring. This app honestly looks like it was thrown together in about 5 minutes. I wish Amazon would've take more time with this and made a real Windows 10 app.

Review title of ElatiaThere's a right way and a wrong way to do web wrappers.

Unfortunately, this is the worst way to produce a web wrapper. To make an effective web wrapper, we need shortcut links to make up for the shortcomings of your mobile website. In the very same bar that's taking up space for nothing more than a settings link, we could have shortcuts to take us straight to our account, current orders, wish lists, cart, browser history, saved item lists, registry, and selling so we don't have to hunt and peck through menus or scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to access key features. The bar serves little purpose etwise, and 5 minutes of pasting reference links would elevate this out of the "lazy web wrapper" status it's presently in - even better if we can have the scanner option back from the old Amazon app we used to have. Are the millions of customers added to the Windows Phone family every quarter worth 5 minutes of your time?

If all it can do is allow me to shop, I'd just use the website. I'd like to be able to listen to music and watch video as well, with full video casting support as well (Miracast). (Amazon video has issues with that currently from the website)

Total downgrade from the Windows 8 native app. It just shows the Amazon website with no additional functionality. Just make a bookmark in your browser instead; there's no reason to download this app separately.

needs to have everything built in, otherwise what's the point? No reason to keep this when you have to go to the web anyway, so I don't recommend this. *update* Seems like they finally got the right idea after about 4 years? Headed in the right direction, at least you do things in the app now. But what's the point of the thick settings sidebar? It's covering the app making it smaller to view and navigate. 😐 and the settings we can change? "Change country" and "legal".... Really this giant bar for that? 😒 uninstalling this junk. Ill just continue using the web page on my laptop. I recommend no one install this. Right direction or not, it's still a piece junk after so long. 👎🏻

I have been waiting for an Amazon app that plays videos seamlessly without making my cpu spool up. I'd even take just a Prime Videos app without shopping capabilities! This app will just open your default browser to watch videos, so pass. Really was hoping for something better.

How hard is it to make an app that's essentially a webview in Windows? It's bad enough they don't have a consistent interface across platforms, but it's like they're trying to make people mad by making a bar that takes up the left side of the screen (that doesn't go away) with just one button,a settings icon, and it only shows legal information and lets you change which country's Amazon store you are seeing. They're either really stupid or trying to do a bad job on purpose.
