■ Game Features Take on the role of an anonymous warrior — caught out of place and time — on a journey to bring an end to a broken world. Gather your weapons and choose with care: distance, timing, combinations, stamina, and attributes will determine the outcome of battle. Animus: Stand Alone is an Action RPG comprised of quick stages and compact boss battles. SA is a companion piece to the world and lore of Ire: Blood Memory. You may be new to this fractured world, but foreknowledge of Ire is nonessential. We hope that all fans of ARPGs can find enjoyment in this game.

Review title of VodalariiIt's a budget Dark Souls. Lacking overall.

It's essentially what you would get if Dark Souls was 10 dollars. The combat is just okay. Basic enemies can be defeated with button mashing and minimal effort. The large bosses can require a bit more, but the game lacks the polish that makes DS great. The world is a series of levels, basically corridors leading to a boss fight. No real joy of exploration, though that could change as you get further along. It just does not feel like a huge, connected world like the series it tries to emulate. The story falls a bit flat. It is obviously trying to follow a similar style of vagueness and mystery as the souls games, but that is even hit or miss with that series at times. For 10 dollars it is fine, not great. Good for short bursts maybe. As for the info thing, not a good reason to give a bad rating. If you want to be helpful, try being a bit more specific.

Thank you, Vodalarii. Yes, this game was intended for short or sometimes long bursts of play. The story is actually tied in with another game of ours, but at our scale we were unable to incorporate it fully. As for permissions and info, it is for the integration of Xbox Live and Play Anywhere features with our game. We would like to build bigger levels in our future games. Linear stages was the way to go for us at this time. All the best to you.

Access. My info? Im getting a refund no other game from a small developer worth 5 $ has ever asked for that not even darksouls wich has online has EVER ASKED FOR MY ACCOUNT PERMISSION. AND INFO!

But there should be more Soulsborne games. This is a quick type of similar game, and like MonHun, too. There is fun doing equipment load-out and battle, reading the dialogue for story, etc. Not everyone can play or pay for DarkSouls. We would like to make bigger and cooler type of Soulsborne in the future. Cheers, and all the best.

If your expecting Dark Souls 4, then google "realistic expectations and rethink that 1 star review your gonna give because Animus didn't incude a battle royale mode or a 400 hour epic story with sweeping set piece battles, its $10 people. You can't buy a Starbucks coffee for $10! And here you've got a solid and fully competent game that somehow manages to be fun and isnt an overpriced cup of s*";-~y coffee. Do something good with your life , help a small developer by buying this quality game, or go play Fortnite.
