Description

Which chess club hasn’t the problem, between all players is a huge difference in the playing strength. So it’s difficult for all players to attend in one tournament. This program brings a simple solution. The weaker player gets more time. This mode is not made for testing the real strength of the players, just for additional tournaments in the yearly calendar, just for fun. You can play a rounding or Swiss tournament. The program calculates the times for both players for the handicap tournaments. The fixed cumulative time is shared on both players, depending in their ELO rating. Deciding is only the difference in strength. Equal players will share the same time. Proposals for Tournaments: Example 1: Total time of the game: 120 min, Minimum time for consideration: 15 min, Maximum ELO difference: 500 Example 2: Total time of the game: 30 min, Minimum time for consideration: 8 min, Maximum ELO difference: 500 With reducing the minimum time, it’s gets harder for the better player. If you like my app, please write a nice comment. And now, much fun with the a little bit different tournament mode
