Description

After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control. From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world. Control is Jesse Faden’s story and her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Jesse works with other Bureau agents and discovers strange experiments and secrets.

Review title of BILL GATES 187A return to form for Remedy!!

Ill keep it short.... Control is parts Max Payne, Alan Wake and Quantum Break. The better parts I might add. The story is a dark twisty enigmatical tale ( Alan Wake) full of strange references. Combat feels like all 3 combined and is an absolute blast. If you like any of the other 3 games but wished for a little git more Control is right up your alley. P.S. Its beautiful to look at!!

Review title of Squirrelly LiesVery Enjoyable Story, Thrilling Combat

I spent four days running through the campaign and all side missions in the game, playing at least 6-8 hours each day, sometimes more. I spent more time hunting for secrets, hidden lore, collectables, etc.--unlocking outfits, that kinda stuff. I enjoyed most of my time in the game, and loved the world Remedy created and the characters that inhabit it. I've always liked SCP-type stuff, having spent hours on their Wiki reading through the silly/scary stories. The tone of this game, the flow of the story, the dynamism of the narration, all fantastic. My only issue was with combat and the save system; sometimes, there'd be difficulty spikes that came out of nowhere, with no forewarning. Naturally I'd die, but oh well, no big--Oh! The last save point was in a terrible location, or a large amount of progress was lost, or some other annoyance. My advice would be not to rush through the game. With enough upgrades and foreknowledge, pretty much every combat encounter was manageable, and fun

Many of you might be too young to remember a little mini series that aired on The SYFY channel back in 2006. But this game borrows Heavily from that shows premise. Even all the way down to the abiguous hotel with the many doors that lead to anywhere and nowhere.(in the show. I believe it was just the one door tho.) But I consider this a great thing because that show was weird and phenomenal. And yes, even the objects of power where ripped from the show.kinda makes me wonder if the same writer was involved... Anyways, great game and great show.

Review title of Da MackerelSimply AMAZING!!! What a ride!!!!!

One of the best games I've ever played, hands down. I just finished the main story and it's right up there wit Titanfall 2. I think that those who say they didn't like the ending shut it off too quickly when the credits started rolling because it was a fake ending and after about a minute the credits melt away and the story keeps going. The fake out was one of my favorite parts because it lets you down for a moment, leaves you confused, then the ride powers back up and it's so satisfying. The difficulty does increase, but I just finished the main quest with my character less than half upgraded. Actually most of my deaths have been from falls, I've died very little from combat. The frame drop is only when going into a menu and not a problem. The combat is very fun, and smooth, it's great how enemies that seemed hard at first start to feel easy later. Great music. Great graghics, some of the fx I've never seen before. The whole game oozes creativity. Any DLC will be an instant buy.

If you want an interesting story, varied & tight gameplay in a 3rd person game with a metroid•vania style level design that cohesively lends itself to replayability & player unique experiences this is the one. In my top 5 of All time fav games and ive gamed since nes. Beautiful graphics unique style. Remedy has made another masterpieced we should be thankful we are getting DLC. MICROSOFT BUY THIS DEV TEAM
