Many complain that it looks less detailed, but the goal was a more natural look and thats exactly what is provided. The wet sand in the beach no longer looks super glossy as do other games. It looks NATURAL. If your local beach's sand looks glossy when wet, see a doctor or call EPA. There are some bugs to be honest, such as floating energy drinks and other lootables, but they're not game killers. One thing that I dislike is the grainy visual effect, thus my 4-star rating. It makes the entire visuals look like they're smoothed out and not HD. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the way the game was remade!

I had an absolute blast playing this game, but it doesn't quite live up to it's "remastered" name. The graphics are updated, which is a given, so it looks better than last gen but only by a small margin. There seems to be a lot of "blur", almost as if a lot of what you're seeing isn't in focus. Besides the graphics being slightly updated there isn't a lot else done to the game. Some gun models were ported from "Dying Light" replacing various gun models that were in the game, I personally don't like this. The guns don't seem to fit in and it feels lazy. Other than this the game is about the same, it plays exactly like it did on last gen and it still has all of it's quirks and glitches. Even though I was a little disappointed by this "remastering" I still loved it and recommend it. If you are considering this game I suggest you buy the definitive collection, this way you'll be able to play Dead Island: Riptide which is more polished and much more pleasing to play.

Review title of FALLOUT BILL53STILL GREAT FUN!

With some nice visual upgrades and much better control than my 360 version, I highly recommend the remasterd version to both fans, and new players. I had a hard time driving the vehicles in this when playing on the 360 version, but now with the new game engine, the vehicles are smoother and easier to control, along with weapon throwing and aiming. As a open world RPG, both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide are only surpassed by the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series as my favorite FPS open world games. The only issue I have had in over 100 hours of play were some missing DLC and a few odd loot spawns. The PC patch for these minor issues was just released on Oct 5th with the console patch do out anyday. UPDATE: The patch fixed the issues! Enjoy!👍 If you enjoy the Walking Dead show and killing thousands of zombies in a huge open world to explore, you can't find a better game then Dead Island!

This is classic Dead Island at its finest, fun, easy to play is what makes this game great. The visuals are amazing. Recommend playing DI, then importing the character before starting DI Riptide.

Its one of my best zombies games ever, I really enjoy it play with my friends half of the time, I lasted hours & hours of playing this almost seems like an RPG game. Only thing i hate is the buggy part there are some lags quite often but either way its a very great game!

i like the game, its. just odd how i cant play co-op with my brother under the same internet connection. if i join someone, he cant join but when i leave that lobby and ask him to join, it lets him but it doesn't let me.. its weird
