its been a really long time since i played the original 360 version of this game but i must say i dont recall it being so good....i do remember the older one being clunky whereas this version is smooth....the cog tags are easier to see than on any other gears game.....i liked the original but loved this version.....the mp has always sucked but i only play gears for the story...one minor complaint is that when playing solo campaign if dom goes down u can revive him but if u go down u die...but otherwise nicely done

I found myself astonished when I first heard there was a remke being made. I played the co-op with my brother, and it felt like reliving the good old days of playing the original. There are a lot of other things I like that respect the original.

i love every bit of this game and can't wait for gears 4 I love these games so much because its story telling at its best and the multiplayer is so good. The graphics are beautiful, gameplay is smooth, more people to be in multiplayer,more modes than the origional.edited cutscenes. perfect hands down a remastered 2 needs to be made back on topic this game is worth every penny in its price

to those who think this a remaster imo opinion is wrong, if they use a new game engine designed to be on next generation, redoing all the cutscenes, it is a remake, a remaster it just a game that that has the same engine just update to support hd, halo 3 & 4 comes mind, and different genre, final fantasy X/X2, and XII tza, and please don't compare two different genres, that aside this still imo one of the best games ive ever played and i recommend to all gears of war fans .
