Exciting Co-op Survival, One Issue

The game is a breath of fresh air for the survival genre, and is intensely fun! However, once I initially launch my story save game, it takes me back to the main menu after a few minutes. Afterwards, however, it doesn't happen again until I launch the game again. Other than that, it's a great co op and single player game that I'd recommend to anyone!

Fun game but 1 irritating thing...

I love this game. So why the 2 star? Well the game itself is fun...if you can deal with being booted to the main menu and losing progress constantly. I save often, but I can't save every 10 minutes before I get booted without warning to the main menu. Constantly doing the same thing to regain that lost progress only to get booted again. The frustration outweighs the fun. Putting this game aside until they fix it. I got this a few months ago when it was for Games with Gold so I can't complain about it being free. But I'd recommend passing on this game until this issue is patched because it IS infuriating. Will play again in April to see if it's patched. If it is I'll revise this warning along with the stars I gave it. If its not patched then this warning will remain along with the rating.

Months ago this game ran perfectly and was fun to play but now between the constant crashes and the fact that the sound is very broken (music and efffects are really quiet, randomly gets really loud) this game really isnt worth the $20 anymore. For a 3gb game with that price tag you'd expext some level of bug fixes and support, right?

Review title of IanCrashes a lot

The game crashes a lot. When does, you lose all progress from the last manual save, not from check points. Sometimes the game randomly reboots, sometimes it locks up and dumps you back to home screen. Glitches include sound effects dropping out and quest triggers not tripping, both of which require reloading the game. Terrible.

Its fun, deep in some areas, and challenging, but after a few minutes of playing, the game kicks back to the main menu, and loading back in has the game noticeably missing some key audio. As this is what caused me to quit playing a year ago and it STILL hasnt been fixed, leaves me in an overall foul mood with this game.

I love that it has a local multiplay. The survival tips are delivered in a highly entertaining way. While the graphics may not be as realistic or flashy as other modern games it more than makes up for that in the ingenuity of the game play the interesting enemies the fun story and the joy of getting to share it all with a friend who's right there on the couch next to you.

The gameplay is fun when playing with a friend. game will reset after first play in story mode around 10~15mins, so dont go too far. However, you can play without worry after it resets. wish more content was added.
