The way that this seems to be advertised is as a way to separate itself from the driver because nearly everything running Windows bundles 3rd-party drivers that explicitly disable the bundled utility and Windows 10 makes switching a hellish nightmare (no, I do NOT want the last 5 versions of the driver to auto-self-install on reboot as I keep removing them to try stock Intel drivers; please stop it, you're purposefully missing the point of what I'm doing Device Manager). Given this looks like what all the fuss is about that causes folks to even notice this and opt-in to installing it right now, it is indeed frustrating to get that "Intel(R) Graphics Driver is not available. Check the driver status and then launch the application." message. Come on Intel, you're definitely big enough to be able to sort out better access to driver controls regardless of the manufacturer, and you definitely shouldn't be having this problem on a Surface given other ways you collaborate with Microsoft.

What the heck were you guys thinking? I'm a graphic designer and premiere pro won't start without intel drivers which is costing me time and money since this darn app won't open after installing the updates. I hate this garbage. Go back to the way things were before.

Just like all the other reviewers have already said multiple times, this app refuses to work. It just pops up a dialog saying I have an incompatible Intel graphics driver version, even though I most definitely do not. Intel needs to fix this broken app!

It Dosent Work.Do even people at INTEL even read the reviews after making it app available in Microsoft Store.IT DOSENT WORK. Fix it asap. After I Launch it, it does nothing. No error. Not even a Sign of Life.(I see the app running in task manager for a brief second though(background process).. but it closes afterwards. what is the point of this?? can u please fix it so I can have my precious control panel again ?? Please??

Review title of SuperciliousApocalyptically awful move.

I logged in to Microsoft store for the first time since 2016 just to rate horrible app down! I cannot adequately articulate how stupid it is to move a necessary system app to this awful store. I shall avoid machines infested with Intel graphics henceforth due to nonsense like this. I would give 0 stars if I could.

The decision to remove the Control Panel from the driver package is not Intel's, but rather as per Microsoft's requirements. This is Intel following compliance with Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform (UWP). If you are having issues launching the Graphics Control Panel, please contact Intel Support. We also recommend that you install the Intel Graphics Command Center (Intel GCC) found in the Microsoft Store if you fit the minimum requirements.
