Despite the negative ratings and reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not disappointed. Some of the complaints appear to be due to unfamiliarity with how the app works. If you hold your phone vertically, the app assumes you want a vertical panorama and forces you to tilt upward. When starting your panorama, hold the phone steady until the directional line and target end spot appear. Then, slowly move the camera toward the small spot until it is inside the large ring, and then hold steady until a new directional line and target spot appear. At that point, you can either stop or continue. I found that it is unnecessary to pan all the way to the target end spot if you are satisfied with what you've captured before stopping. The app also stitched pictures flawlessly even if my panning motion was inconsistent or if I backtracked a little. The stitching process was very fast on my Lumia Icon. I believe the app deserves better reviews for its purpose which is to take quick and easy panoramic pictures.
