Review title of EricDeep and Rewarding

This game starts slow, but it picks up after about 50 years have passed. While there isn't much of a story, the game offers some excellent tactical gameplay and long-term strategic planning for those who stick with it long enough to understand the systems and how they work. Managing bloodlines and balancing research and training bonuses with your heroes' battlefield skills is a lot of fun and very satisfying. If you like strategy and tactics, Massive Chalice is the game for you. The only fault is the lack of any real, gripping storyline. The narrative doesn't get much more involved than "bad guys are invading, you should build a kingdom, raise an army, and kill the bad guys." The lineage system is very cool, but time passes so quickly it's tough to get to know any of the families or become attached to favorite heroes. None of that dimishes the amazing strategic and tactical gameplay though. This game is a hidden gem. Check it out.

Before playing this game I never really played turn based strategy games. I usually played shooters and RPGs. I didn't expect to even get halfway through the story. But I ended up finishing the game and enjoying it. It is kinda hard to get into at first but I understood all of the mechanics after an hour. This game is not for everyone. I would recommend it to people with patience.

Review title of WordySolonXCOM, but for eugenicists!

Very much like the XCOM reboot tactically, but with the added strategic wrinkle of having to manage your soldiers' bloodlines as you fight a generational threat. Inventive, interesting, challenging, fun, frustrating, just-one-more-turn-addictive, and very deep. That being said, having beaten it once, I'll probably never play it again.

Review title of IlI ETERNAL IllFantastic Game

Very good game for turn based strategy lovers like myself. Also unique and humorous, its a lot of fun with a interesting concept. I played this game just to "try it out" for a few moments with the XBox game pass, but found myself hours into it. What I didn't like about it was lack of any real story and background on the enemies you face. Also time passes so quickly just when you get attached to certain hero's they pass awaydue to old age. Still its very much a satisfactory experience, definitely will buy. Miss these thoughtful types of games that are very rarely seen anymore. I recommend you give it try and see for yourself.

Ive come back to the game after beating it. But now it keeps saying update your subscription. Im gold so i dont understand tried restarting and reinstalling several times. Its a shame because game is really great but wont allow me to play. 5 stars in my opinion until this happened so ill give 4.

I like this game. I do. Until an unexpected crit one hits my best hero on the field. THE GUY I LITERALLY SPENT YEARS GROOMING! So yeah. I work out the generator system and get to the halfway point and then the game decides it doesnt like my current set of heroes and wipes them all in one turn.

The mechanics of managing the bloodlines is a great mechanic to add to the depth of this game. All the other standard mechanics are there i.e. research. leveling and its the managing of the bloodlines that sets this game apart. You can have this high level armed to the teeth baddass simply die of old age. Hope you managed your houses right. The UI though looks TERRIBLE. It is functional but that is the only good part about it. If you love the tactics genre you will love this game replayability is high.
