can't get this to play a dvd - not very user friendly! Thought I could just put the dvd in my computer and run and hdmi to the tv - it won't even play on the computer - not impressed!

I downloaded this to play a instructional DVD and all I got were ads and it had a watermark in the middle of the screen. It wanted me to pay for a codex to get rid of it. So it is not FREE. I could live with a watermark in a lower corner but not in the middle of the screen for a FREE player.
