It's graphics and system mechanics could be a bit better but it legit came out 1 hour ago from when i'm typing this, sooooooo... I can't really complain. I can assure you, if you like MHA, you'll enjoy this game. Have fun! I feel like I should also put "PLUS ULTRA!", but I also feel like that would be too much... Kind of like this review.

First off as a HUGE anime fan and Bandai Namco player for years I was extremely happy to hear about this MHA game. I was scared at the same time because we know how Bandai will make a good game and then make a couple games just for a money grab without any effort. Going for broke I said I have to for support towards MHA and so far I'm satisfied. I get to play as the Heros or villains of the anime in full effect! Fighting AI is pretty boring because they don't attack head on most the time just run away but in PVP it's real. I do wish there were a few more characters since theres more than enough space on such a small game for 60 bucks but I hope Bandai realizes they have something good here and can enhance it as much as possible without asking for pricey tags. Also maybe add some more original fighting music or anime OST, Subtitles for characters before and after fight cutscene's for sure! But seriously you all will like this.

Ok, let's be honest. This game had been out in Japan for a couple months already. Everyone already knew what they were getting. Anyone who got this game for anything other than the online play will be sorely disappointed. The story is average. The only thing that keeps you playing through it is because you know you'll get All For One. All the other offline game modes are...ok, but they're basically storymode without any cut scenes. HOWEVER, despite anything i've just said, BUY THIS GAME! The online play is amazing with a 9/10 netcode. This games mechanics were made for punishing spammers and predicting movements. The fights are so engaging and so long as you're not fighting a bakugo who has auto combos enabled, or a silver surfing, fire spamming shoto todoroki, you'll have a blast. I recommend starting off using auto combo, and once you get used to seeing how the combos work, enable manual. So basically, what i'm trying to say is, why buy crack when you can play this for $60?

There are good and bad things about this game. The CP enemies switch between constantly running away from you, to attacking you with massive combos. Once you get into a rhythm it's fun. Local PVP is the best honestly. It sucks that they decided to leave out English dubbing even though they had the cast record some lines in order to include it. It would be less distracting if they had allowed people to choose between subbed or dubbed. But overall it has decent mechanics and a good sized roster for anyone that enjoys the anime

As great of a game as it is, I do wish it had an English Dub setting. Can only pray and hope they'll be cool enough to patch one in but it is Bandai Namco so I doubt it. Also, AI fights can be a drag sometimes because all they do is run and jump away from you like they are trying to avoid fighting you as much as possible.

This game is possibility the best fighting game I've ever played but there is one major issue that desperately needs to be fixed. Shoot Style Deku is far too powerful. I understand that this may sound like I'm butt hurt so I tested this theory with the strongest CPU level you can make it and made it All Might with 2 sidekicks. All I did as SS Deku was spam X and jump. (I pressed B and RB 2 times) and I won both rounds easily. Every ranked match is filled with these spammers who always play Gran Turino's Residence (so they can stick you into a wall) and it's really hurting my enjoyment of the game. I really hope this problem gets fixed soon so I may enjoy the game again.

I just love this game so much. The fighting system is unique to each character, I can customize my main, Froppy, the story mode is fun and takes some of my favorite scenes from the anime, but most of all it is the first Xbox game that I pre-ordered and it lived up to my expectation. But the only problem that happened to me was that it will crash from time to time.
