OMO is a board game that consists of a simple board composed of 25 squares. In each square lie a pawn so in total there are 25 pawns having the same color (hence the "OMO" naming aka homogeneous). The game starts with one empty square (no pawn) the objective is to eat pawns as much as possible like a pawn would do in a regular chess game. The more you use pawns to eat other pawns the more points you get. This game exists in 2 main modes: -Single Player Mode: In this game mode you're more or less eating your own pawn but don't worry that's the objective, the more pawns you eat the higher your score will become. In single player mode you have 3 difficulity types easy, hard and medium. In the easy mode you have 40 seconds to eat as many pawns as possible, in the medium mode you have 30 and only 20 in the hard mode. -Multiple Player Mode: In this game mode you get closer to the chess concept. It is mainly a 2-player mode, each player will eat pawns and has 10 seconds to think of a move to do so. The player that get stuck and don't have any move left to complete an 'eating' loses. This game was partially developped during an internship at Wixel Studios,Lebanon. They gave me the original concept but additional features were introduced by me in order to make the game more enjoyable and playable.
