Room Kiosk is an interactive Windows-based interactive digital sign for meeting rooms and workspaces which display today’s schedule for that space and allows instant reservations and check-ins. Using the touchscreen interface, reservations can be made, checked in and out, and time extended and LED lights visually indicate the status of the meeting room. Each Room Kiosk sign comes delivered with the necessary hardware, system software and application necessary for full function. ASI installs the signage as directed by the customer, works with AgilQuest to configure the displays with AgilQuest’s OnBoard room booking software, then connects the devices via POE to the client’s network. The client’s employee, room and floor plan information is loaded into OnBoard, OnBoard is configured, and then made available for use. By providing an interactive interface to OnBoard just outside a conference room, users can more quickly find an available space or more easily check into a space they have previously reserved. No need to log into a web browser or knock on the door and ask, “is this room available?” Collaboration and productivity relies on readily-available interfaces and ease-of-use.
