Each picture on your phone contains a lot of interesting information about when, how and, if you enabled it, where it was taken. The Picture Details app will integrate into your phone’s picture viewer so you easily can view that information, you just select “edit…” and “Picture Details”. Starting with Windows Phone 8.1 this app can also show information about high resolution versions of the images on your phone. Picture Details will show you the following information (if it is available): • Image type • Color space • Bit depth • Resolution in mega pixels. • DPI/DPCM • Approximate file size. • File name • Date and time when the picture was taken. • Possible title, comments, name of author and copyright information. • GPS Measure Mode • GPS DOP • Latitude and longitude • Altitude • Address including postal code, city and country. • Make and model of camera. • Focal length • Focal length in 35 mm film • Exposure program • Measure method • ISO speed / SOS / REI • Aperture • Exposure time • Flash information • Digital zoom ratio Picture Details will also pinpoint the location on it’s built in map.
What's new in this version
• Supports high resolution jpeg images available on some phones, mostly Lumias. (Not available in the evaluation version of the app.) • Displays SOS (Standard Output Sensitivity) or REI (Recommended Exposure Index) instead of ISO Speed where applicable. • Displays focal length in 35 mm film if available (if extended information about camera is enabled in settings). • Fixed an issue that caused the app to falsely claim that other images than jpegs had a high resolution copy available.
