I finished the demo to unlock Carbuncle and hopefully will be available as companion pet when I purchased the main game. Nothing I don't like about the trial, though I wish there are more choices for projectile weapons (shuriken, bow and arrow, laser gun or sniper rifle), maybe it will be added in the succeding episodes; Duscae is more of melee weapons. Looking forward to pre-order the FFXV Premium Edition once it is available for XB1 store (PS already posted for $84.99 with the Season Pass). I hope the DLC's has more story content, an option for a female character as hero or companion, and lots of fun replayability of this new FF open world game.

Haven't played a FF since trying FFX-2 (never got far) and was interested in FFXV. This demo drained any hype I might have had for the game. Pros: Graphics look pretty, voice acting seemed fine. Cons: The camera angles are awful, even after tinkering with camera sensitivity. It's somehow trying to be a 3D platformer too? Didn't showcase well here. The movement in general didn't feel responsive or fluid. The battle system is a bad knock-off of Devil May Cry, poorly executed, but with MP in addition to HP. Overall, I kind of just wanted a more classic FF with updated graphics, a good story, and above average voice acting. Squenix has had their fare share of time developing and 'improving' this game, but it was not apparent in this demo. I was on the fringe of being re-interested in the Final Fantasy series, but this turns me away from it. Back to replaying the earlier series on PSX or PC, but I'll check back at reviews when FFXV does actually release. Kupo!!
