Shekhar (Shahrukh Khan)works as a video game developer in London, living with his wife (Sonia) and son, Prateek- a video game freak. Shekhar is a loser and a coward in his sons eye. To be a hero in Prateeks eyes, Shekhar creates a video game with the biggest villain ever created- RA. One (Arjun Rampal). But when the villain escapes from the game and comes into real life, chaos breaks lose. RA.One is out to destroy Shekhars family and the only two people who can stop him are Prateek and the super hero of the video game- G. One.
