Our trips tend to be jam-packed full of activities -- we make the most of our time! Planning these trips though can be overwhelming. Backroads is a terrific app for managing the complexity, taking the stress out of the process of planning our elaborate trips.

Review title of EllaGreat trip planning app

I always put off my trip planning until the last minute, and so I was happy to find this app. It makes it really simple to keep track of all my activities, meetings, schedules, hotels, cars, hikes and maps while I'm traveling. The maps are the best feature because I can see all the stops, routes and directions for each day and get an overview of where I'm going. I also love that the app automatically figures out your schedule for the day when you enter how long an activity will last and keeps me on track. Great idea and so helpful!

I was so excited for this app, however I was not able to add any restaurants hotels, etc. Making this app useless

DON'T LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS WORTHLESS. NO INSTRUCTIONS OR DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO USE. WILL NOT PLAN A TRIP UNLESS YOU GIVE SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS. BRING BACK MICROSOFT STREETS & TRIPS AT LEAST IT WORKED ALOT BETTER THAT THIS PEACE OF *&!@@.

Thanks for your comments. We're waiting for HoloLens to add a mind-reading module, so we can transcribe your trip plans directly from your cerebral cortex. In the meantime, yes, unfortunately you need to provide us with some information. You can find instructions and directions here: https://backroads.life/app/learnmore/ (In all seriousness, we're not trying to build a geo-database like Streets and Trips. That's what Google Maps and TripAdvisor and such are for. But if you think we're leaving some good ideas on the table, feel free to give us some tips.)

Love you can add stops to a trip, but still need a few more options... ie ferry trips, train trips, personal boating (charts).
