The Legend Of Johnny Lingo

What if you were born a king…and didn't know it? Find out in "The Legend of Johnny Lingo," a fun-filled tropical adventure for the entire family! When a fierce storm strikes Malio Island, the islanders ask their gods for a miracle. What they receive is an ornate canoe complete with a baby boy. The only possession the child arrives with is a beautifully carved hair comb. The Malio chief decides that the baby, Tama, is a gift from the gods and declares that he will be raised as his son. However, the chief's wife becomes jealous and begins to spread her resentment, blaming Tama for all of the island's misfortunes. Soon, the islanders follow her lead and even the chief denounces the boy. He is passed on from family to family and ends up with the poorest family on the island -- that of a little girl named Mahana and her father. But with them, he finds true love. And with love in his heart, Tama escapes the island to go on an adventure of a lifetime, vowing one day to return for Mahana.
