not for someone that doesnt enjoy stealth this is not a fighting game but there are multiple ways to play and complete all leading to the same end result but super fun and it gets your brain going for sure

This is a great stealth game. Interesting story, nice gameplay. Don't understand the hate around this game. As someone who enjoys stealth aspects in a game like AC, this did a great job at implementing easy to use abilities that made the controls comfortable. Graphics could use some work, and the ending felt incomplete, like it needs a sequel. Overall, definitely fun and worth my time.

Excellent atmosphere and splended use of Unreal Engine 3. Were there frustrations? Absolutely, particularly the city being divided by loading screens in the most bizarre and counterintuitive fashion. Nevertheless, finding all of its little secrets is a complete joy. The story arc rather sucks, but npc dialogue and found notes are very well written and performed. Fans miss Stephen Russell but the new Garrett is easy to listen to. People have forgotten the negative reception Deadly Shadows received from fans, but if you love Deadly Shadows as much as I do then there is just as much to love here. The Hammerites and Pagans are conspicously absent, but the joy of thieving and the joy of unravelling a labyrinth are here in spades.

I brought this game on day one, i remebered the PC version.....and the fact they made two more parts to it back in the 90's. Over all, a great game, take you out of the hack and slash stuff and puts you in the hide and stealth mode. I would have given 5 stars, but like most fun games that are worth the time to explore and play....devels just abandon it. No more DLC, or not even a hint of porting over Thief 2 and 3.

The game is great for someone who enjoys puzzles and stealth. While it is not like the originals (Most games these days aren't), it is still a decent game overall. The only thing wrong with the game is that the map layout is a bit wonky. It is worth the money in all.

Review title of SkycladShadeReturn to the Shadows

Thief 4, not a reboot or remaster of Thief: The Dark Project, is a return to the series that remains at the core of the stealth genre. The graphics are nice, and the gamplay is fluid. With all the stealth clones out now, it is good to see a return to the roots. I thouroughly enjoyed all entries in this series amd would love to see a bundle with The Dark Project, The Metal Age and Deadly Shadows come to the Xbox. Thief is a game that will ever be one of my favorites, for that simple fact that its all about avoiding detection and combat. Combat is a last resort and should be handled as such. I have seen a few games that have tried to duplicate what Thief has done gameplay wise, but you can never outclass a grand daddy in this genre, Garrett will see to that!

Review title of Am ShadowsPlay This Game

The feeling this game gives you is very interesting. The story is not the best but it's not bad. The controls feel good and stealth works well. The upgrades and things you can buy from selling the valuables you've stolen are really cool. You can eventually buy different tools to break into or unlock different parts of the map. Story line gets pretty spooky near the end, I definitely recommend you play this game on the hardest difficulty for a more serious feel. Game is way too easy.
