Description

Show me how to... Visual Steps is a tool used to create step-by-step instructions, including video models, for completing a task. Because the steps are user defined, the level of detail and frequency of prompting can be customized to a particular individual and/or task. A photo, text, audio and/or video can be associated with each step. Live Tiles for individual tasks can be pinned to the start screen and will be updated automatically to include the count of steps yet to be completed. Use Visual Steps: as part of an "on the job" training program to help employees learn new tasks; to teach activities of daily living to people with disabilities and the elderly; as a readily accessible visual record of a complex process. Once a user has learned a task, Visual Steps can be used as a check list to help maintain skill performance and promote independence. Creating tasks is done completely on the phone. Tasks created on one phone can be copied to other phones running Visual Steps (requires a OneDrive account). All of the functionality is available over a WiFi connection (telephone service is not required). A one-time in-app purchase is required to create more than 2 tasks. A one-time in-app purchase is required to create more than 3 steps per task. For further information go to http://visualprompts.com
