VZV Slideshow is a simple but powerful app for displaying automated slideshows of images. You can create multiple views on one or more screens to display images from any folders on your system and network. The slideshow is controlled by a powerful node based system for maximum flexibility allowing different views to have different colors, transitions, scaling and update at different rates. Great for using one or more screens to enjoy your photo or art collection, or for simple advertising or display.
What's new in this version
VZV Slideshow 1.3.0 (09/02/2020) ------------------------------ Significant under the hood improvements to threading to improve responsiveness and synchronisation. Source node: added fast mode. Loads large folders in chunks for faster starting of slide show. Node multi-select with Ctrl-click. Multi-delete. Ctrl-click any node's close button to delete all selected nodes. New Node menu: Node Cut, Copy, Paste, Duplicate, Delete. Duplicate selected nodes by dragging: Ctrl-drag to keep group's internal connections, Shift-drag to just duplicate the nodes without connections. Image cache. Images are now cached to avoid multiple accesses of the same image file (Cache size set on Settings Page). Menu length setting for Recent and Favourite lists (Settings Page). Added a Settings page. Recent Files submenu added to Load menu. Favourite Files submenu added to Load menu. Right click to delete Favourites menu items. Removed modal notifications of failed image accesses (unnecessary and interfering). Failed accesses will now just use the previous successfully loaded image.
