Review title of Tru2dagame008Not Worth Your Time

On the surface, the art style might grab your interest, and the music is passable, but don't be fooled. This is a hollow experience that has the most basic of tutorials to help you with a surprisingly challenging game. The dialogue is bland, plot is uninspired, and you end up with what feels like 10% of an actual product. Even at the cheap price point it's marked at, somehow I still feel cheated...

All UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps have that ask before starting the app, the game isn't connected to the internet in any way and we are not accessing anyones information. And don't want to.

It an unpolished mess with only the artwork as a positive. You can't see unit stats after the are deployed. The attribute system is too vague, there isn't really a story to speak of, the ai is brain dead making matches boring. The is no tutorial, the feel of the game doesn't even have that indie charm. Im honestly suprise this was on the weekly xbox report

Love the art, the game is slower (risk with abilities and terrain bonuses), it works fine, simple enough that you don't need more than 10 minutes to have it figured out, and it's five bucks...great,no....one star,no....it's a light,easier strategy game...for five bucks.....man people are greedy.

Review title of BloodyKisses xWait For Turn, Then Strike!

War Theatre is an easy to play turn based strategy game. Even with the lack of a tutorial, the majority of its gameplay mechanics are quickly learned. Each turn you move your units to attack, capture buildings and purchase more units. With land, sea and air units, all of which are available from the get go, strategies will take place as there's always a unit to counter another unit. Each battle, the defender returns fire in which the attacker takes damage too. There's also powerful heroes with unique abilities to use although you have to go into a seperate menu from the title screen to learn what the abilities do as the campaign section doesn't tell you. There's not a big story other than you're really just here to fight. Terrain makes a huge difference as it impacts a units attack, defense or movement.. The A.I. isn't too challenging but you can vs a friend via the couch. The art style is creatively cool and I hope the devs continue to learn/grow as I liked this more than Plague Road.
