Im an old fan of the warhammer universe (wheres my Tomb King warband?), and I never imagined this would be made into a vidya game, but it happened and its rad! Its brutal like the table top version, and yes, sometimes RNG f**ks you, but ive had physical dice do the same in the tabletop version. But I think an important thing most players should know is that the Dodge and Parry % of your enemy are calculated separately from your To Hit %. So, you can be amazing at hitting things but if your opponent has a decent save, it doesnt matter (ask anyone who brought Wood Elves against Warriors of Chaos), and i think thats why some may feel the RNG might be unfair. Dual wielding daggers is a decent way to get around this problem, they negate a nice portion of their Dodge & Parry %, and if you hit them once while they're in it, they lose their Dodge & Parry stance for that turn, also a dude (or lady) whose lost an arm can still make good a ambusher if built right... Anyway, buy it, its fantastic.

cool concept and mediocre character customizations. Was looking forward to playing a challenging turn based game where lots of character and squad customizations were present. In general this game has very limited content, very little customization other then physical appearance of you warband characters. Almost no actual gear options and very limited useful skill options. Not very many heroes or regular types of guys to choose from and very basic repetitive campaign maps and objectives. However the game is difficult, just not because of actuall difficulty. Its difficult because of your lack of content and options. I would maybe pay 10 dollars for it but its not worth 40.

Review title of Grand AuditorixWarhammer Fantasy RPG/Skirmish... A must buy for fans
This is an appropriately complex game. There is a learning curb and the first warbands you create will suffer... But it pays off. The game is a grind but never dull. Always a challenging and dynamic. No one way to play, so try a bunch of things! Hope you like this game! Wish there was coop.

Reviewers were correct - cpu wins every roll, and when they don't there's 5 re-rolls to save them. Multiplayer is the only fair mode. Also, the cpu takes forever to make it's moves.

Review title of ITheIrishLionIYou will roll a 1 EVERY time
After completing my 2nd, 16-turn match where i rolled a 1 ON EVERY TURN, i thought id mention that this game is absolute trash. Ive never seen a more rigged game in my life. Have 3, 83% chances to tackle the weakest enemy unit?? You will roll 3 1s, and 2 of your best units will die. Facing a hafling team, with a 17% chance of hurting a 15 ft. tall, 2 ton chaos troll?? Be prepared to be T-bagged before they hit the ground. Cyanide created the illusion that this game runs on a random dice roll, but changing the difficulty only leads to better roles fo the AI and worse for you. Skill (difficulty) and Luck (chance) have literally nothing to do with each other. Cyanide's choice to attempt to link them together completely destroyed what should have been a very enjoyable game. F••• you, Cyanide.

Review title of RitzierBasher35Rng is too wonky to simulate tabletop
Veteran dice roller...rng is broken in favor of ai. Way too many triple and double skulls for player while ai hits 80% on one die blocks. Seen 3 deaths in 3 consecutive starts and finally gave up because team is unplayable with injury and deaths. Rng is too sticky to simulate real dice.

Review title of wydyadoitTakes an hour to find a match & devs ban 4 concedes😂
Don't buy. CPU has loaded dice. Official servers are a joke and the community is ran by elitest snobs. It takes almost an hour to join a match and if you disconnect or have to leave because you weren't intending to play for 3 hours the forum moderators have permission to ban you from multiplayer. People get upset that you killed their level 5, 7 Armor unit? BAN! Foul another player? BAN! Run out the clock? BAN! Developers are hateful, egotistic, and don't support their own content. 1 out of 10 would not buy again. Games Workshop has their heads up their own echo chamber and it shows. Still no mixed team official ladders, all the functions of the expansion pack equate to "challenge mode", and the added races make the game pay to win by negating the original races entirely through overpowered starter units and extraordinary abilities. "If you can't commit for 3 hours knowing that a max level kill team is about to boost SSP off your fresh team then dont play our imbalanced game" -devs😒

New Eternal League crashes consistantly. I really like the game but I cannot get past one season without a crash. Because the crash corrupts the save I have to start a new league over again. This ruins the expansion I payed for.

How is it possible to miss when you have 95% hit chance 3x in a row every time fully upgraded characters the AI Has buffers that throw your odds much lower then it says. Games not hard its alright but not worth the hidden inconveniences that magicaly pop out to boost AI cause development wanted to take a shortcut and save money

Review title of ReeKillGrayAI Dice Roll is Rigged
Its a fun game when its actually a fair match, but in the campaign the dice roll for the AI is rigged. They keep getting knock downs on your team and not very often cause a turnover. While your dice is always getting push backs or something that causes a turnover. The Dark Elves had 67% to 83% to dodge, they would always get the dodge even when you have four guys surrounding them, while when my team would try they'd always never get the dodge.

Not fluid enough in my opinion. Turn based, yes...but not smooth enough to keep it interesting for long. A lot of mistakes in building and cutting players that have zero warnings making an uninstall very easy.
