Well Log Viewer software can be used for viewing and plotting oilfield well-log data. The types of data files that are currently supported includes LAS, DLIS, JSON, SEGY and LDF file. LAS, DLIS and JSON files typically contain wireline log data. LDF and SEGY files are used for VSP seismic data. A basic application of this software is for DLIS to ASCII file conversion. Some basic log processing functionality is available. VSP waveform processing options currently include Spectral Ratio computation, Butterworth Filter, FIR Filter and Hilbert Transform
What's new in this version
2.6.2 Efficiency upgrades 2.4.2 Upgrade to the database structure. Projects saved from earlier versions are not supported for re-loading. 2.3.30 Loading array data from DLIS files 2.3.26 RHOB-NPHI crossplot overlays. 2.3.22 Dynamic and Static Elastic Modulii, UCS - Unconfined compressive strength (needs access code) 2.3.14. Updated internal documentation on Curve Name anf Unit recognition 2.3.12. Modified DLIS load to include loading files with Tape Markers embedded inside. 2.3.8. Added log curve histogram, Synthetic Seismogram and Finite Difference Modelling 2.3.2. Added options for curve editing, and curve splicing. Curve splicing is not allowed by default, and requires a passcode. 2.2.32. Re-activated the curve wrapping option, which had stopped working 2.22.24. Added up/down key controls and pageup/down controls to the data list. Added a few more computations. And general program fine tuning. Minor adjustments to LAS file reading routine, to overcome a bad LAS file example. 2.2.18. Fixed a bug where the Northing and Easting had become swapped in the directional survey computation.
