So, I'm a member of the Preview Alpha club, which means I have to find bugs, which requires a lot of report writing. The method I have chosen to communicate with, the Chatpad, is excellent for this. However, its utilitarian black has always looked out of place on controllers. Until now. Now this once utilitarian tool looks downright sexy when attached to the Phantom Black. I mean that! Sexy... Plus it has all the utility and finesse one comes to expect from a first party accessory. All the function I desire, now in a gorgeous, sleek package. When I first saw a picture of this controller, I was impressed enough to preorder it - a first for a controller! Now that I have it in my hands... well, I had to paint my nails a glossy black to match!
So, yeah, very happy with my purchase. Easily the prettiest first party controller I've ever bought.
I have one, and the controller works great for me like the effects too plus if i dont want to turn on my surround sound on i can plug in my 3.5mm Head phones in and watch a good movie or play a game with out disturbing my family lol thank you Microsoft.. Gamer tag unboundMADMAX
Aesthetically pleasing color and transparent design.
Mechanically, the analog sticks have great response, but the ABXY buttons were incredibly stiff and would not allow for quick taps.
Connectivity, it was a piece of crap. It started off with not staying synchronized with my Xbox, then it began ghosting its connection (Xbox saw a controller, but would not respond to input from physical device,) to eventually straight up dropping the connection like the controller was off when it was still in fact on.
I purchased this. It's a great controller. But I have some issues with Microsoft controllers. 1. I can customized color. You can customize. Everything. Except for the body of the controller. I play gears. There needs to be a separation from the right bumper and the right trigger just a little tiny bit of plastic. Also. I constantly break the thumb stick. On the left side. Can we maybe make this more heavy duty? I am at the half century mark in age. It's not like I'm droping it or throwing it across the room I just have fat fingers. Update had less than a month. I am returning. Left control stick. Is stuck going backwards? Cannot recommend
