Its like&#8230; Flow-blog-ception!<\/p>\n<p>This Flow will show you how to create a set of automated reminder emails based on previously set dates. Its not too hard, but its highly useful!<\/p>\n<p>So first things first, if you prefer to consume this in video form, Go ahead and check it out below:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"443\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/O_zKexhMpkI?autoplay=0&amp;fs=1&amp;iv_load_policy=3&amp;showinfo=0&amp;rel=0&amp;cc_load_policy=0&amp;start=0&amp;end=0&amp;origin=https:\/\/youtubeembedcode.com\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"788.54\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And now for the rest of you who would like to follow a step by step, please proceed onward!<\/p>\n<p>First, you need to create a SharePoint list, formatted like the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eai4ma.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4msJISXeSmdkbE2Dp2QUq2eOmYw2VgWis5xFYMoKO6o5sU5JB2k1Zc0w8k461fDePn5PS8FtjIv2mSXVdEZsaHP7G1xlnzRDtWknx9csTmImO8al6P8TWfRWEbAgJMiSp5FAG0qfTvMSZrExozl_TIsYoCMWARoVb5h7UuWct6msUpjlVvOJLdU4kHfuuMc7dKnsguZCC9kze1C-RW_hn2pw?width=1993&amp;height=241&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 662px; height: 80px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Now, Head on over to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/flow.microsoft.com\">https:\/\/flow.microsoft.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and get signed in, then click on <strong>My Flows<\/strong> and then <strong>+ Create From Blank<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For your Trigger, search for <strong>When an item is created<\/strong> and select the <strong>SharePoint<\/strong> action and then fill it in with your <strong>SharePoint site<\/strong> and <strong>selected List<\/strong> like seen below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/3zmqjg.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4mLNf7FvvYdXHejEIxgr5CdfwPgQ9dVsRyzfzyw2ctPLWqIWApbC2ZcxBSpAmDkmrb_k34Wsb2xa2ISLaoxzT8x2q_z9B54mp0wHiCtwAuWbM9DKAV3a893l0BizNgJVJ028AWj2dmAWvbSZOmCLZdHIbIqW0cU5oQo0I2I95w0Q9auAJbF4R2lthZMetThFDoG-ZDfiGTOHT2aVITgpo_7A?width=905&amp;height=239&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 303px; height: 80px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And now lets <strong>Add an action<\/strong> and search for and add a <strong>Compose<\/strong> action and then select the expression builder and insert the following expression\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style='color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 19px; font-family: Consolas,\"Courier New\",monospace; font-size: 14px; white-space: pre; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 254);'>\n<div><b>formatdatetime(triggerBody()?[&#8216;Publish_x0020_Date&#8217;],&#8217;dddd MM\/dd\/yyyy&#8217;<\/b><b>)<\/b> &#8211; So that it looks like the following:<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/qh9p6w.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4mpmlroE6qD5sILJxjtk-8jPezmmpcqywElQKwDPDPlYC81n4jxVbl_kslFAgHwnILkwRg949o9nYnEXxoozp9MjZvbElpyzmkwWVnwBIV_gYGQ_PX0_jy9w5XmvRHnRp36OMr1nC9gx85DiSfZ_IxwZtbdCg8Yp9__Tw0VIaqsKmW-6BBiVqXHh9t3wWsf3AU8Jmc1fiV_duS66TunX4pYQ?width=902&amp;height=192&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 301px; height: 64px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And then lets add another Compose action and put the following expression in it &#8211;\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;background-color: #fffffe;font-family: Consolas, 'Courier New', monospace;font-weight: normal;font-size: 14px;line-height: 19px;white-space: pre;\">\n<div>formatdatetime(triggerBody()?[&#8216;Title_x002f_Description_x0020_De&#8217;],&#8217;dddd MM\/dd\/yyyy&#8217;)<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>So it should look like this so far:<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/e31f0w.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4m1W96sQyaKeE_sfzjI33Lvf9iISsg4uli5RKvvQeRELqE0NzSRg6WcOSWiDCquZYb4r7T0nypGCm9vVJowgoWEtLIzZ3fDGzUZWy1-vUDfzvODSOmbiQIuze0Ay4f6HfQD4ifaNas3HI9lYtW18OrUcdMdcpmz64Lo3bHO7Z4aUGzlqU6h4itOheLgy8BoGMxSqId6SFYtxhFU1X24AQNhw?width=899&amp;height=695&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 232px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Ok, are you with me? Great! Now we need to add a set of Parallel actions. To do that, First, click on the + Sign under your second compose and choose <strong>Add an action<\/strong>\u00a0and choose <b>Delay Until<\/b> and then select the SharePoint Dynamic Content for the <strong>Reminder 1<\/strong> Column Date<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/swauga.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4mRcmXPnZ7xjrz6IijWa02bq34tT_9Di9tJdm0_cZt4GhDKBGK4jYQZR07ZNjZvw30qx4ypCxuJPbIWtCtdbXpVPvJMWeMmm6breC2V1JHojF2btnzFaSyh1q_U7mfBEBRHOFBH5wFdttoWTtWOICw89HKN_dndno1YZxDuWYTda8rjlUmuO_lSqLts0ayOMaz1QACTFcKZZcoDepuVqlV2Q?width=903&amp;height=154&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 301px; height: 51px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Next, click the + and select <strong>Add an action\u00a0<\/strong>and search &amp; choose <strong>Send an Email\u00a0<\/strong>and then customize it to your liking to let the user know that this is their 5 day reminder<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rvegdg.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4m4manjdXc5PWoLzoyDF5J9LKaKyGvrrMIGQkLeZ-Nwh245BJUTb5qw8nu-OTKCWbNcGYdmZ96VxgGJAIZ4OvGiLld1MCHTz8A0eNd0VhVOmK1zFe9uTGlfMShol0fNBaxd1H4UvWbSimh9RIv8Q0pwKlFqFA5Ceo8e4qqYiX8-JFBajAdyCC2Q6Yb24Hd4iikMiCPM8-C_dg22o6rPazAwA?width=899&amp;height=1559&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 520px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, in the body of my email i am using the two outputs from the compose actions above to help give more info to the user.<\/p>\n<p>Now, click the + above this action and choose <strong>Add a parallel branch\u00a0<\/strong>like so:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/zwwgmw.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4mlwrHwr4DohHYL03PN4aQkLngyJ99xa06n9wUpIgKlWb7B0OUygtApChEC5A0P2uzw94_sCmTUDK0cgexhvUTHKq1iFUvgC2vs31n2uoejpYquIW8o-P_ZYHbfhoboOWdWOnsDCRjOnfSNl8tSEUx6lDVkq0M9RRLGhwFxyP4L8XwP4lTQ8Mbc0-5skCiwmpJF4fDev_KtOOkrRzqvELwaQ?width=923&amp;height=915&amp;cropmode=none\" style=\"width: 308px; height: 305px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>From there, choose add an action and again select <b>Delay Until<\/b> &#8211; but this time choose the <strong>Reminder 2<\/strong>\u00a0dynamic content from the SharePoint data and then add another send an email action, and set them up as the 3 day reminder.
