{"id":2876,"date":"2020-07-03T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-03T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-06-11T07:58:21","modified_gmt":"2025-06-11T14:58:21","slug":"run-multiple-concurrent-ui-flows-on-a-single-windows-server-device-high-density","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/power-platform\/blog\/power-automate\/run-multiple-concurrent-ui-flows-on-a-single-windows-server-device-high-density\/","title":{"rendered":"Run multiple concurrent UI flows on a single Windows Server device &#8211; High Density"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Power Automate, with UI flows, allows anyone to create Robotic Process Automation (RPA) that can replay UI interactions with Web and desktop applications. \u00a0Since the April 2020 release, you can already run concurrent UI flows using clusters of devices.<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to announce that the June release brings support for multi-user sessions for Windows Server (High-density). This will allow you to run multiple UI Flows in parallel on a single Windows Server machine.<\/p>\n<p>To configure multi-user sessions on Windows Server you will need the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows Server 2016\/2019 machine with the on-premises gateway installed<\/li>\n<li>The latest version of UI Flows running on this machine<\/li>\n<li>Use two or more user accounts to create UI Flows connections targeting the gateway on this machine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can now run multiple UI flows at the same time on your device and save on infrastructure costs.<\/p>\n<p>Note that if you want to use more than two parallel user sessions on Windows Server you will need Remote Desktop Services enabled. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/windows-server\/remote\/remote-desktop-services\/rds-client-access-license\">Learn more about RDS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For more details about this feature, you can check our <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/power-automate\/ui-flows\/run-ui-flow#run-multiple-concurrent-ui-flows-on-windows-server-devices\">documentation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are always working to improve the automation capabilities throughout Power Automate.
