Add new fields while creating your canvas app<\/span>\u00a0<\/a><\/h6>\n

Enables adding fields inline to your application creation experience.\u00a0\u00a0With this feature, application makers can now add \u2018new\u2019 fields from within the field selection panel\u2019s \u201cAdd field\u201d callout. Makers can use the \u201cNew field\u201d button on this callout to quickly create a field, or use the \u201cAdvanced settings\u201d on the new field callout to create a\u00a0 field using the full new field panel.<\/span>

\nExtend the power of WYSIWYG form authoring to quick create and quick view forms<\/span><\/a>
\nThe new form designer puts the WYSIWYG form preview up front and center, enabling makers to <\/span>see exactly how the form will appear to end-users at all times. The enhanced field pane has built-in capabilities to search and sort, helping makers <\/span>quickly find the <\/span>fields that they are looking for. The property pane is always available, allowing makers to <\/span>quickly change properties and see them reflected in the form preview.<\/span>

PowerApps solution checker feature enables you to perform a rich static analysis check on your solutions against a set of best practice rules and quickly identify these problematic patterns. After the check completes, you receive a detailed report that lists the issues identified, the components and code affected, and links to documentation that describes how to resolve each issue.<\/p>\n

\nApplication Makers can now <\/span>easily add and move fields and controls, to the\u00a0exact location they want, directly on the form preview, and instantly see how the form will appear to end-users. Two new features added to the <\/span>new form designer<\/a>:\u00a0<\/span>drag-drop and cut-paste are making this possible.\u00a0Combined with the live WYSIWYG preview of the form, these new features provide\u00a0a big <\/span>productivity boost when authoring forms.<\/span>

The Data Gateway administration feature<\/a> on the Power platform admin center<\/a> in January. gave tenant admins with visibility into all On-premises data gateways within their organization and also management capabilities.<\/p>\n
