Research of the Machine Learning group at the Microsoft Research New York City lab spans a wide variety of topics within theoretical and applied machine learning, including learning from interactive data (e.g., contextual bandits and reinforcement learning), online learning, natural language processing, Bayesian latent variable modeling, and topics related to interpretability and fairness of ML and AI.
