Microsoft Research Lab – Cambridge


Below you will find useful information about visiting Microsoft Research in Cambridge.
The lab is only 200 yards from Cambridge Train Station, so we recommend travel to the lab by train, where possible. Trains from London Kings Cross take 50 minutes. Please note that there is no visitor parking available on-site.

Air Travel Information

Cambridge is within easy travel of two international airports, London Heathrow and London Gatwick, in addition to three regional airports, London City, London Stansted and London Luton. London Stansted is the closest airport.


There is no visitor parking available on site. There is ample parking at Trumpington Park & Ride, which is 2 minutes from the M11.  The bus from the park and ride gets you to the station in about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The bus goes every 15 mins.

Coach Travel Information

Guided busway

The guided busway connects Huntingdon and St Ives with Cambridge. Buses stop at Cambridge Train Station, very close to the lab.
