I am an Applied Science Manager at Microsoft in Bellevue, WA. My team works on building large-scale Machine-Learning models for different AI scenarios at Microsoft Office such as “suggested replies” for Outlook.
Before moving to the United States in 2015, I spent 8 years working for Bing at Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK. Between 2013-2015, I held an honorary lecturer position in School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow. My research is mainly focused on information retrieval and web search problems, particularly auto-completion, spoken queries, time-sensitive search, and personalization.
