Although I started working for MS in 2012, I have been working in professional audio for more than 30 years.
Born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, I started assembling amps and speakers as a teenager while attending my home town Technical School; later I graduated from the National University of Rosario (Argentina) with a BS in Electronic Engineering where my thesis was the design and construction of a Real Time Spectrum Analyzer for Audio Frequencies (in 1984!).
Upon graduation, I started several companies and provided consulting in pro audio. During this time I built and installed hundreds of professional audio systems for discos, cinemas, churches, stadiums, etc.
In 2002 I attended the NAMM show in Los Angeles and I was offered a position to work for QSC Audio Products designing power amps and self-powered speakers. I worked for QSC from 2002 to 2007 when RODE/Event Electronics hired me to design Studio Monitors. Working both in Seattle and year and a half in Australia I developed the ”Opal” a high end studio monitor that won several awards. In the picture with me!
Finally I joined MS WPI team in 2012 when RODE started to move the engineering team permanently to Australia and I did not want to leave the NW.
Audio is more than a job for me, it is my hobby and my passion. I had my own lab in my garage where I spend as much time as I can designing and building high-end analog equipment.
