About

I am a Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research, New England.  Prior to joining Microsoft Research, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.

I study topics in the intersection of microeconomic theory and theoretical computer science.  I’m especially interested in applying notions of robustness, complexity, and information to the design and analysis of markets.  This includes purely theoretical work on pricing, mechanism design, and market equilibria, as well as particular market applications such as digital advertising, sustainability, and cloud computation.  Some of my earlier work also touched on the structure of social networks and the theory of social learning and behavior.

For a complete list of my publications please see DBLP or Google Scholar.
