Jianxun Lian

Jianxun Lian is a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His research spans human-like (anthropomorphic) intelligence in LLMs, AI agents, and recommender systems, with a recent focus on socially intelligent agents that interact, collaborate, and support people across various scenarios like household, gaming, workplace, and scientific simulation contexts. He has published in leading venues including KDD, ACL, NeurIPS, WebConf, and SIGIR, and serves actively as reviewer for these communities.
