About

I have been in Microsoft Research Asia since 2006. In 2014, I got my PhD degree from Computer Science and Engineering department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where I learnt a lot from my supervisor Prof. Qian Zhang. Before joining MSRA, I received Bachelor and Master degree from Automation department of Tsinghua University, in 2004 and 2006 respectively.

My research interests include the design of communication and networking systems. I have several published work in physical & MAC layer design of WLAN/Wi-Fi, algorithm and architecture of Softwre Defined Radio (SDR), Visible Light based Communication (VLC) systems, and security of Internet-of-Things. In particular, I have worked on development and deployment of the Sora system during the first a few years of my career.

Recently, I am also looking at mmwave communication and FPGA acceleration in data centers. I am looking for interns for these topics, please send me your resume if you are interested.
