I am a Post Doc Researcher in the EPIC Group where I explore research problems at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and data visualization. I research, design, and develop novel interactive computer applications that empower people to communicate data in expressive mediums. My research goal is to remove barriers that prevent people from participating in the discourse surrounding data. These barriers include but are not limited to: data and visualization literacy, programming skills, communication design skills, and a lack of accessible data representations.
I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Interactive Computing School at the Georgia Institute of Technology where I was advised by Dr. John Stasko.
