About

I am mainly interested in improving health, well-being, and education using technology. My main field of research is Machine Learning but I am also a part of the cryptography group where we work on the Private AI project in which we try to build AI tools that preserve privacy. This is significant in domains such as health and education in which privacy is of great significant. I am working on developing technologies to help people with behavioural change. Here, the goal is to help people with their diets, sleeping habbits, managing stress and more. Other subjects that I have been working on include measuring gait and balance, machine learning theory, machine teaching, and debugging machine learning.

Gait and Balance App

October 2016

The Gait and Balance app uses the Kinect for Windows (V2) to measure different metrics related to gait and balance. This can be used, for example, for assessing risk of fall among older adults or for tracking the progress of different treatments.
