I am part of the Cloud Operations Research (CORE) group at MSR Redmond. Our focus is on designing large-scale optimization solutions for cloud systems and applications.
My current work investigates stochastic optimal resource allocation across multiple levels of computing infrastructure, from the scale of server components to datacenter fleets.
I completed my doctoral work at MIT in trajectory optimization for dynamical systems. My other research interests include optimal control, modeling & simulation, hybrid symbolic-numeric computation, validated numerical methods, and programming language design.
