Overview
Common sense is knowledge that we all have, knowledge that we assume other people know about the world. Computer-science researchers have common sense, but our computers don’t. This limits the research goals that computer scientists want to achieve. This talk describes how common sense can help the field of computer vision and how computers’ inability to grasp common sense is hindering research in computer vision.
