Most summer internships last 12 weeks from May to September, but can be longer, with applications typically opening in November and closing in March.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be eligible in North America, Europe, and Asia, you must be a student with at least one term left after completing the internship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Research India and Africa internships offer durations ranging from 3 to 6 months. Both current students and recent graduates within one year are eligible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Research Asia internships offer durations ranging from 3 months to 18 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The majority of our intern candidates are PhD students; however, we also accept Master\u2019s and Bachelor\u2019s students who demonstrate a strong interest in research. Applications requirements will be clearly indicated on the job posting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Post-Doc positions at Microsoft Research become available year-round. They typically last two years, with the option for flexibility over one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft research teams consist of top researchers, engineers, program managers, and designers who collaborate to find innovative solutions to global challenges and enhance people\u2019s lives.
