With an international roster of speakers, exhibitors, and attendees, CVPR provides an exceptional opportunity for students, academics, and industry researchers to meet and share ideas and research results.

This year, for the first time, CVPR mounted an expo for industrial and academic exhibitors. Microsoft was proud to be a Platinum Sponsor, and had more than 40 researchers, designers, and engineers in attendance from groups throughout Microsoft: Xbox, Hololens, Bing, and Microsoft Research. We gave dozens of talks and plenty of posters and tutorials, and chatted about projects and opportunities at Microsoft, from pedal-to-the-metal engineering to research in pure mathematics. Andrew Fitzgibbon talks about Sharing our vision at CVPR 2016 on the Microsoft Research blog.

Area chairs

Andrew Fitzgibbon, Microsoft Research

Jian Sun, Microsoft Research

Program committee

[col-1-2]

Antonio Criminisi, Microsoft Research

Cem Keskin, Microsoft Research

David Wipf, Microsoft Research

Dijia Wu, Microsoft

Eyal Ofek, Microsoft

Ido Leichter, Microsoft

Jamie Shotton, Microsoft Research

Jeremy Jancsary, Microsoft

Jiejie Zhu, Microsoft

Jifeng Dai, Microsoft Research

Jingdong Wang, Microsoft Research

Liang Du, Microsoft

[/col-1-2]

[col-1-2_last]

Lu Yuan, Microsoft Research

Neel Joshi, Microsoft Research

Rong Xiao, Microsoft Research

Sameh Khamis, Microsoft

Sebastian Nowozin, Microsoft Research

Sing Bing Kang, Microsoft Research

Sudipta Sinha, Microsoft Research

Takaaki Shiratori, Microsoft Research

Tao Mei, Microsoft Research

Thomas J Cashman, Microsoft Research

Xian-Sheng Hua, Microsoft Research

Yichen Wei, Microsoft Research

[/col-1-2_last]
Accepted Papers

"The Global Patch Collider" by Shenlong Wang, Sean Ryan Fanello, Christoph Rhemann, Shahram Izadi, Pushmeet Kohli

"Layered Scene Decomposition via the Occlusion-CRF" by Chen Liu, Pushmeet Kohli, Yasutaka Furukawa

"InterActive: Inter-Layer Activeness Propagation" by Lingxi Xie, Liang Zheng, Jingdong Wang, Alan L.
